In 1958, Ford re-designed the Thunderbird, changing it from a two-seat “sports car” to a four seater, a “personal luxury” car. They acquired the nickname “Squarebird” . This design ran from 1958 through 1960, and had a quite impressive, futuristic interior design, that I have endeavored to capture in this water color.
